Need a cue package

Cue makers I need a very simple package of cues of varied lengths and weights to be used by beginners to the game to get a feel for what type of cue they should be using.

They should be plain 1 piece cues of varied lengths for children to adults and if you have any ideas to reduce the number of cues by having a way of changing the weight of each cue then even better.

Main information I need from you is;

• Cost
• Delivery Time
• Varied Weight Ideas

I also need a plain 1 piece cue 58" 19oz with a tip size of between 11-13mm

The ideal to keep costs down would be for someone to do the adjustments on ready made cues which I can get plenty of instead of them being fully hand made.

There will also be re-orders if at the right price.

I would say your best bet would be three 3/4 split cues with the exact same joint with butts of varying lengths and weights and shafts of varying tapers and tip sizes that can be interchanged. Those three cues would be enough to give you nine variations to try. Add to that a weight that can be screwed between the joint to lengthen by an inch with an extra ounce of weight would give you eighteen cue variations for the three. Add to that a weight that can be screwed into the end of each butt to give an extra ounce and you would have thirty six variations for the three.
Mini butts that can be screwed directly onto the shafts would make an ideal small cue for children.

Thanks Jim but I am looking for a solution which can be replicated for those who want the same package but really appreciate your offer.

I have Nic Barrow talking with Accurate for me at the moment as this is something he is also interested in and he thinks they can produce it, my only worry is cost as their cues are expensive.

Call Alan Day on 07902 602049 ( Very well known within the SF circles for top cost effective work on cue mods). Hes a "Geordie" but nobody's perfect.

Peradon already do cues with those joint and end weights. Just need three different length basic models and someone to make minibutts that fit directly onto the shafts. Maybe Peradon themselves could do that as well.
