This now catches my stubble on occasions ,what's the best thing to do in this a situation.
    It's on the shaft.

yes but again, not on the shaft. don't use super gue fort filling in on the shaft, what it don't make sense for you?

Its clear who does not make sense here. I understand exactly what you're saying, however for the size of the repair mentioned, I disagree that it would affect how the cue plays

For lifting dints of any size I've used this technique with great success for a fee years now.
        http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cdtsa4Sazvw#

Basically, sand away the surface finish, wet the dint with a finger tip of water, dab on a tiny finger tip of lighter fluid and set light to it. Burns fast and not hot or long enough to damage cue but enough to turn the water to steam which expands the wood, lifting the dint. Repeat as many times as it takes to get the dint out, go through the sandpaper grades and re-oil.

your arguing for the sake of it! go and ask someone else.. do what you want fella idgaf!
if you can't iron it out on the shaft you gotta go to work, and it don't involve super glue.
oh yeah if you can't play anyway then it don't matter right?

Never asked you anything, it was you who replied to my advice to the op. So wind your neck in. Not saying your advice is wrong, I just don't agree with it. Get over it!

The fact you're going on like the hole was an inch deep and wide doesn't make sense when you've already been told Its only 1-2mm. imo filling with superglue will not adversely affect the way the cue plays. The op asked for advice and opinions, which a few people have kindly taken the time to give, I gave my opinion of what I would do and I stand by my advice, you disagree with my advice, fair enough, I disagree with your's so best we leave it at that before things get unsociable. Nobody wants to read us arguing

You should'nt blame this HotShot !!!!!. He has grown physically, but not spiritually!! So what we have here is a man of 44 who behaves like a child of 12. Against this kind of kids you should say: >> you're right and save yourself a lot of trouble.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
