You also paid for a delivery service which you received mate.
Imagine what you could have done with your time instead of responding to all these posts and defending your point? Switched your utilities provider, get a balance transfer deal on a credit card, or shop around for best deals on nappies and wipes. All would save you more than a tenner. As I have previously said £10 is very cheap to learn a lesson about how you prefer to buy items. What are you getting from holding on so tightly to this issue?
Perhaps write one last post with advice for others from your perspective and commit to leaving this thread there.Last edited by Stupree; 30 March 2014, 08:14 AM.

You've came on here and slaughtered a guy who makes 100% handmade cues, one of very, very few and who charges not a lot for that. Is your craftsman cue 100% handmade?
Now it's £10s for nappies, do you expect anyone to have any sympathy with that?
Am sure you're a good guy, it went wrong and it cost you a tenner, it's happened to is all at times, suck it up and move on.

I tried really hard not to say this, but I just can't have it. If you need ten pound for nappies for your bairn, don't spend £230 on a bloody snooker cue, as 1 you can't afford it and you would have 23 times the amount of money to spend on your kid or kids. You have every right to complain about the service you got and you have done that, you feel Jim was rude( as far as I can tell it's not really the cue ,as we know even the top makers can't get this right all the time,it's how the transaction went when returning it that has got your back up) but please don't say ten pounds is the difference between your kid having a decent time of it or not, as if that's true don't buy snooker cues that cost over two hundred pounds, this point devalues your argument. Personally I think Jim should have sent the money the same way you did, it's only fair, but I'm guessing he just yanked your chain a wee bit as things got out of hand. This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

Any spotting the inconsistencies yet?..
“would have put up with the cue is it was straight” – It is straight, I’ve played with it…
"has been nothing but nice" - while threatening someone with the police...
"can spend £230 on a cue" - but worries about £10 for his son's nappies...
“paid £230 for the cue” – forgets to mention this is delivered, with mini butt…
I’m sure there’s more but if I read another post of him saying exactly the same again I’ll go insane.

Beware of hobbiest cue makers
I don't think he intended the baby milk comment the way many of us have read and interpreted it. I think he would take it back if he could as I believe/hope he has his priorities in order so wouldn't be dipping so deep in to his pockets for a cue if he couldn't afford to. ( I type this with a three week old baby asleep on my chest and no cues having arrived for the last month or two and no intentions to other than the cue I have on order)
I just feel that this chap is happy to be a victim and this is habitual behaviour for a person who regularly receives unacceptable products and service.
It may not be the rest of the world that has the issues Brian.
