And you have every right to be annoyed, and maybe if the seller was more polite in returning the refund then this thread may not of started.
May this be a lesson in the future to you and the seller that knowledge and experience are normally key factors in making cues, and hopefully im sure the seller will take this on board when he makes his other cue, everyone has to start somewhere and Im sure he wont send another cue out unless its right.

the cue sights straight thats all i will say, anybody want to view it i will send to them, but why should it cost me anymore to prove that you wanted a proffessional made cue at a hobbiest price, you knew i was a hobbiest if you didnt you should have checked,i never made out it was perfect ,when i do get perfection the price of my cues will prob go up.

Like i said you would say that jim. Crafts man cues charge same as you for same cue they are profesional cue maker therefore you charge profesional price! And the cue was scratched on arrival wat you get for not wrapping up before you put in tube for transport. Cue was unacceptable for money you charged thats the bottom line and then you dnt even give me full refund!

You supposed to play with the bloody thing not measure it. The ebony splices on my cue differ by about an inch in length, thats what you get when a cue is hand planed mate. Perfect length splices are achieved when the shaft is clamped in a jig and planed by machine, like those Thai cues that everyone is ejaculating over on this forum.

As for the shaft being a little bit curved, that can happen after the cue has been made when the last of the stresses in the timber are only released after the final sanding and finishing. The ash simply could have moved while in transit unkown to the maker. Are you certain that is was curved ? could the grain of the ash on the shaft have caught your eye and made it look like it was, this can happen.

This is the price you pay for not being on a two year waiting list like with John Parris who will wait for that amount of time until he knows that the shaft is question will not move further and deserves to be called an Ultimate.
His splice lengths are seen by many to be sub standard yet most of the pros use his cues, and I bet they don't get out a steel ruler when they unpack them, just get on the table and find out how it plays.

And text speak is no excuse either, you don't pay by character for posts on this forum, it's free.
