  • Same cue, very different listings ( Jason Owen 063 again )

    Interesting differences in these listings

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-4-Jason-...vip=true&rt=nc

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=131158480024

Goes from being broken 1 piece cue, with repair through a new shaft and a joint, to being a rare Jason owen 3/4 cue. . . .

So basically its a Craftsman cue with a Jason Owen butt. The entire business end is made by someone else! Misleading to say the least!

Why would you not clear the kitchen table before taking the photos? Or wipe your lens?

Because some people are obviously too thick to understand the benefits of good pics

            Poor cue's fairly going through it's owners rather than hitting balls . . . . .

In general... That's all A lot of the time when selling, people don't think about the negative effect of posting bad images etc... That's all. (Referring to the bad images on the auction)

I suppose the current seller might not know much about the cue / cues and is 'innocently' thinking its a 'rare' cue, but in reality its a mongrel cue and not worth tuppence ha'ppeny

Aye but no doubt it'll sell because of the name on the badge to an unsuspecting buyer. Hopefully for whoever buys it, Craftsman will have done a fine job of the new shaft. Still not what it says on the tin though!

The shaft looks ok but the pictures are so poor it's hard to tell.

Unless the current seller bought it from the previous e-bayer, in which case he just glammed it up a bit ( a lot ) .
There wasn't much time between the 1st auction being stopped, and the current one starting. .

I asked the seller and got this reply:

'I think u will find I've owned this cue for the last 13 months with full
                              receipts to prove'
