I fully understand that everyones different to what they like but for me ive never had any interest whatsoever in cue cases, just never took to it like many

I've never been a fan of cue cases either. Seems a bit pointless buying an expensive case with fancy design and leathers when they get battered taking them in and out of vehicles or worse on plane with dodgy baggage handlers. A case is purely to protect the cue, nothing more, an aluminium case will always be my choice as I don't care what happens to it, its the cue inside I care more about.

spot on with that most leather cases i see up our club look like the worn seats of a 1980 Jag

I'l agree with this, i got a decent double one piece leather case and tbh it's getting trashed, soon as this one's had it i'm going back to cheaper aluminium cases again, they are robust and take far more punishment
