That's what I was thinking but I was hoping there would be a separate policy available? It's the only costly thing I take out the house.

Give your insurance people a ring, you can insure pedal bikes etc away from the home, probably same with a cue

as long as it is named on the policy and described and keep dated photos, AND dont forget case and accessories, etc., I believe most contents should cover it
