  • Northwest cue 8.5mm tip, too small for snooker?

Just bought a lovely 1 piece maple northwest cue, but at 58" seems too long to be a pool cue and tip seems too small for snooker?
So, do I take 3/4 of an inch off and bring tip up to 9.5mm or sell it on as is? Is there much call out there for 8.5mm snooker cues?

Open to offers, going to have a knock with it tonight, will decide after that what to do with it. I paid £225 for it, but stupidly didn't check the tip size!

Take 3/4 inch off if it gets you to 9.5mm. Good cues northwest you will be able to sell as 8.5mm no problem.

Cue played well tonight, nice and stiff, but as taking it down 3/4 of an inch will make it to short for me think it's best to let it go.
Best offer by Friday gets it, open to swaps also, anything 58"+ 9.5mmish tip? If you want better pictures pm me your email address.

                      Cheers
