I hope no one will mind that I ask .
But as a pool player (American Pool ) Do I know what I want when I look at a Pool Cue . When I look at a snooker cue , I do not really know what to look for?
Is there any difference between a one piece and a 3/4 or 2 piece ? besides the practical advantage of a cue that you can split .
Most snooker queues are made of ash, and usually have a butt that is made of ebony . This I have seen the queues which cost £ 120 and the queues which costs £ 500
What in the manufacturing process makes it that it can distinguish 380 pounds . Is there such a difference in the quality of the wood ? Probably, but can it really be that much difference in quality ....... hmmmm ? ?
Is there a difference from a machine spliced and hand spliced cue ? In addition to knowing that a person actually has put his hand on the cue.
I understand that these questions sound strange and perhaps obvious in your ears , but for me as a novice in snokker it is important to understand the difference .
