The ferrule is similar to Mike's but not then same.
I've been working on different ideas for ferrules for a no of years. Its still a bit trial and error but hopefully this one can do what I want it to do.
Playing wise it does.
I changed the ferrule on my own cue to try it first as I thought this would give me an idea of the playing characteristics.
I was very pleased with the results.
Cue ball deflection with side reduced dramatically and I also found that I was able to impart more spin on the cue ball.
I'm not saying its the holy grail of cue development but if anything can make the game simpler then its got to be a good thing, yeah?
Also it might not be everyone's cup of tea but its an alternative that I think makes playing shots with side slightly easier.
I've already had good feedback for one customer so hopefully its a winner.
