Looking at the position of this player's grip hand on the cue, I think that the "rear edge" of the grip hand (the little finger) is slightly behind the butt of the cue, the little finger holding thin air.
With the same stance and situation, that would of course be different if the cue was longer.
What is your grip position relative to the butt of your cue, for an "ordinary" shot? As shown in Fig. 1 or closer / farther away from the tip of the cue, compared to Fig. 1 ?
I'm curious about this because it might help me figure out what my preferred cue lengh might or should be.
