all i know that its used to be called Hunt and Osborne, NOT Hunt and O'byrne. they split now, each work seperetly , you can find it online, http://www.robertosbornecues.com and http://www.willhuntsnookercues.co.uk

they 100% fake, or different cue maker.

I'm not an expert but the joint and badge looks ok to me, but it may have been respliced or lengthened at some point as the butt profile looks a little different to others I have seen.

O'byrne was Will Hunts business partner once upon a time

your getting better at the photos
(a little close up on badge square on would be good as well )

well, to me the badge, joint, butt curvature, splices all look ok,
or should I say: nothing stands out screaming duff

        other's opinion awaited

              slightly incorrect
1980s...Hunt made cues on his own
then met O'Byrne and made cues under that name (O'Byrne was money man and not a cue maker)
              then H&Ob spilt
Hunt made cues again on own
Robert Osborne started helping Hunt, but still under Hunt name.
Hunt & Osborne cues started to be made.
              Then they split.

Will Hunt now has cues made for him from China (IIRC), supposedly nice cues (the website you have above is correct).
Robert Osborne makes cues under his own name (the website you have above is correct).

There is a recent new company using the Hunt & O'Byrne name but no knowledge of what the cues are like - there is no connection with Will Hunt.

Think Will Hunt cues are made in Thailand not China though Dean but the rest is correct
                    77 in a match, 97 in a line up
