Also there is a bit of the brand factor JP, MW & TW are pretty much considered the best in the field (granted there are lovers and haters for each especially JP). And with the reputation comes a bump in price like nike vs reebok etc.
Where as CJ is widely regarded as one of the best case makers around, he is still "relatively speaking" a new boy on the block to cue making, so his reputation is still growing.
AT is probably undercharging for the quality of his work (imho), but he sets his prices.
At the end of the day, i'm just glad there are as many British cue makers around as there are. Plus with the quality and pricing of the Thai makers etc, If they don't find what they are looking for in the British market then they have plenty of other options. Imho, it gives people plenty of choice at various price points to pretty much suit everyone.
