    Anyone heard or play with shuken cue before?

    It is from japan. More famous for making pool cue. Wonder how is the quality and hit from a japan snooker cue

            I've tried this cue before for like 30mins. Surprisingly, at the price that that guy who borrowed me, I was amazed. It hits quite well. Heard from the guy he's been using for nearly 5 years already.

              stiff but hollow. the extension type is spirolock--same as omin and a lot of thai makers.
              the joint for these 3/4 are not omin-- quick release type that are used by a lot of chinese cue makers.
              probaby a chinese cue from the type of rosewood they use.

                Yeah. The joint seems like quick release to me. Kind of identical to pool's Uni-Loc. I have no idea whether its made in Japan or China, can't find much information about it. I tried it at NTU's cuesport hall. There's a guy there who has it.
