Leo, no. I haven't tried the black bone series. I know they are the top grade Ton Param but with a higher price. For that price, I would pay a little extra for a Trevor White. That's why I didn't ordered one in the past.

that a good call, but it seems though many people don't seem to be getting any replies from trevor white of late, someone down the club sent him a cueorder 3 weeks ago he didn't get a reply so he went elsewhere.
I would say trevor should hire someone to respond to emails but as he's making the cues he's always going to be the best to talk to

Definaltly can't imagine the emails he gets, lucky his phone number is not made public as I'm sure the block feature would come in handy

anything can be compared to anything else
the results of that comparison is what matters

so, do Maximus & Ton Praram cues compare favourably or even better(?) with JP Ultimates and TWs?

It's a strange one the old best cue comparison as i suppose everyone has their favourites wether they play better with a particular cue or not, those praram cues never really popped into my head that's why i went on the defence for trevor white cues but it seems they are quite popular with very good feedback

yep , heard good reviews but have never seen one physically, so cannot say myself
As you say, as always with cues it comes down to which plays better for the person buying it
Quality of woods, quality of build, quality of finish, perceived value, etc., all come into it but are again variable to personal taste, experience, knowledge, requirements
A friend of mine pays with what I am sure everyone on TSF would say is a c**p cue, it is bent like the Thames, it is rough that splinters can be seen, it weights just heavier than a gnat, the tip is off centre and at an angle to the shaft but he plays with it to a very high standard (UK Pool)

I have a Black Bone. Ordered one because I wanted a black ebony butt with no discolouration and the kick-ass name.

The cue butt is selected ebony (black through and through), shaft is selected ash with nice chevrons. All splices and chevrons were in line with the flat of the butt.

Thing about Ton Praram is their attention to detail. They keep to the customers' specs. I know because I use digital scales and calipers; they were exactly as I ordered and I have two.

not if it really does suit the player and they like playing with it and they still put food on the table for their family...

                          Ton Praram3 cues

Fancy saving money on a Ton Praram3 cue and shipping?

I am willing to place an order with Jack (Ton Praram3) if we have enough people who would like to order a cue to their design and spec. Buying together would help reduce shipping costs and will qualify us for savings on these cues.

I would like to order around 10-15 cues and would need at least 5 custom orders here and would make up the rest of the order myself. I would get a commitment on completion date and price before ordering and would calculate import duty too making it as hassle free as possible.

It depends on the grade of cue you want - Series 1 - Series 2 - Beyond - Black Bone and the design.

If there are enough serious hands raised I will put together a price list
