    When I bought a Beyond cue I got Jack to declare the value of the cue as 200.00 GBP and also send it back as a "cue alteration/cue return". I didn't incurr any taxes at all.

              That's fine (maybe) on a single cue, but buying lots of cues at once you have to assume you will be hit for every penny they can get from you, you might get lucky but best prepare yourself for maximum cost just in case

                I never knew that one existed, when I've had them shipped before they've come under a different category, handmade wooden articles..... Or something

                Just checked your code out, you're correct just 20% then on top of everything.

                  Just goes to show that they make it all up as they go along I just wanted to make sure that I have everything watertight for people when giving them the quotes so have been reading up a little. I guess it is essential that they get marked up as 'Billiards Cues' so it isn't left down to somebody's interpretation at Customs
