  • old masters barracuda

Hi, Ive been given an old masters barracuda cue in its original case. It's a 3 piece cue in amazing condition. Been told it's worth a bit, can anyone confirm that? I'm an amateur player and if it is worth something, I think Il leave it in the case as I'm a bit clumsy and il probably damage it.

Worth around £80, but a lot of fakes about.
No one is listening until you make a mistake!

That much really?! Well it's in like new condition. I am definitely not going to use it then. Il probably sell it if it really is worth that much!

virre - does it have a metal (brass) badge or a non-metal badge?
anyone - I have seen examples of this cue with the metal and non-metal badge, also where the line goes under the screws and another where the line goes round the screws... anyone know the distinction of these differences?
Also all of these I have seen were ash shaft with ebony, with one front splice of a red wood (rosewood?) on either a thin or thick maple veneer - where all Old Masters the same design?
          cheers

thanks for that, can you do any photos?
as you are a new member you wont have attachment function yet (over 10 posts required) but you can use Photobucket (or such like) and copy the IMG code (not the URL) and paste that into your post to display the images.

The last Old Masters on e-bay sold at £82 at the end of June , ridiculously cheap because they have been known to reach double that.

I think you should add the length, tip size and weight mate
