I sold you a Paris ambassador in mint condition just back from a full referb at craftsman cues when I picked it up from craftsman thy commented that it was the best ambassador he had seen in year and you still tried to get money off over absolute BS you have just been caught out and you don't like it.

wow all happening on here -
Nice cue there Jack - personally if you where not sure on the cues authenticity you could and perhaps should have taken it to a cue expert - or shop - or could possibly have posted it on here first first to get an opinion - but you did say on the ad you were not sure of its authenticity and I so i think people are being a bit harsh with the comments just because you stuck a badge on some cue you thought might be one of the same type.
You don't sound like a bad bloke to me and I would buy off you for sure.
What kind of con man offers the buyer their money back if the buyer is not happy>?-I wish a few other would do this-and giving someone the first option to buy a cue back if you sell it on is a nice touch actually.
and walkerpool everyone barters when buying something second hand -no big deal that.
I might be wrong so don't all jump on my head here but Jack has come on the forum and sold and bought and participated before and I don't think he is hiding anything - he just put a badge on a cue he was told is a cue from that manufacturer - I have never owned one of these cues to tell but how do you all know it is not an original - am I missing something obvious here - regardless its still a nice cue.Last edited by Byrom; 6 July 2014, 11:13 AM.

"not hiding anything" would have been to make clear in the listing that he had an unbadged cue that he was told might have been an osborne, and bought an osborne badge, then fitted it to the cue. No mention of this in the listing.
I do however applaud Jack for resetting his moral compass.

I've dealt with Jack in the past and he's always been a decent guy - definitely don't think he's a conman here... but the listing is a little bit naughty imho. He's not actually said it was a H&O cue, but hasn't really said it isn't too.
Anyone with half a clue would realise that isn't a pukka cue - even I could see that and I know nowt about cues compared to others on the forum - but when folk see 'Hunt & O'Byrne' all sense goes out of the window and they get blinded by buying a H&O cue.
All a bit avoidable, really....#jeSuisMasterBlasterBarryWhite2v1977Luclex(andHisF ictiousTwin)BigSplash!
