  • Need help, good or bad idea ? cue maker needed.

    Hello!

    Need help!

For a few months I want a solution to my problem: I'm UK Pool player and I play more and more U.S. Pool and snooker. Each game has its own peculiarities and it's complicated to switch from one to another. To facilitate transitions I plan to play with the same cue and just use different shaft. I found the opportunity to get a shaft with good size but not in ash (maple) and not with a brass ferrule ("plastic" ferrule). Looking for a cue maker capable of producing a shaft adaptable to Predator P3 cue (Uni-loc center joint), very good ash quality, brass ferrule, a 9.5mm for snooker, a 8.5mm for UK Pool. If you doubt the playability of this kind of cue for these games, do not hesitate to intervene, maybe it's a bad idea, but we can discuss!

For information cues that I currently use: Mike Wooldridge Shark, 8.5 mm, ash shaft for UK Pool (sometimes for snooker, but it's too thin :/ ). Predator P3 with Z² shaft for U.S. Pool.

    Thank you !

Have you seen the new Mezz Snooker Cue??

I dare say that you may be able to swap shafts ( i am only guessing though ) to suit other games while not throwing off the weight to much as Mezz are a world leader in 8 and 9 Ball cues.

    Thread here on them....

If it is called " Common sense " why is it so rare???
