Ahh yes i saw that last night, deffo hand spliced, but no details given of length, weight, or tip size, Plus it's centre split so not popular, you should get it cheap
Yeah I thought that I just wanted to try it out and could get it at a value price,
Actually would prefer a one piece but if its decent dont mind having a two piece
sorry no, never played with a Cannon Professional, but a Cannon YeOldeAsh an old man down the club I used to go to played really well. But as has been said many times every cue is different and will feel different to different people.
DeanH what was the most expensive cue in the Cannon range in the late 80s? I assume it was the Match?
in that date range the most expensive Cannon cue was the Match (approx just under double the Professional), the most expensive was the "Silver Match" at double the Professional - IIRC this has a solid silver badge plate.
ah thanks very much, DeanH . I have a ye Olde Ash, which i do like, but i played with a Match recently and found it very well balanced (and the splicing was lovely)....

I think back then Cannon had some good makers in the workshop
