It went fairly cheaply too as I recall.. Having just bought one a couple of months earlier for £250!
The one I picked up is a nice player too, 9.75mm on the tip with the original horn/bone (whatever it is) ferrule - some of the things you read would suggest all cues that aren't 58' and 11mm aren't original, complete nonsense of course, people played with all lengths, weights, tip sizes back then just like today.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
