Hi Gary,
I dont think its any of the mentioned and its just been made up as i said before, if you look at the badge its not correct in anyway and not centred properly have a closer look and you can see it a mile off even the screw holes are way off etc and look closer.
I have had a few of these Genuine ones and this definately isnt the correct badge and you can see its just a quick bodge job althou £7 for handmade cue is still great find as i said in your other post.

Gaz.
if you had a few of these gazza then you would know there are 3 or 4 different badge shapes to the champion facsimilie cue.
I'm not sure they are screws, I just don't see how you would wear a screw head down just by holding the butt, plus if it were a screw head it would be recessed into the badge which would prevent this wear, and if not, the heads would have to be prominent ,and I don't think they would be, just my opinion though.

You wouldn't those are not worn by use! I made that point several pages ago.
I don't think the badge is ivory, if it was the big gauge in the top corner would almost certainly have cracked it - ivory is very brittle when its that thin?
It also doesn't remotely fit the cue as other people have mentioned.. I think its a later ivorine (plastic) replacement and the screws have been sanded when they sanded the new badge flush to the cue.
I guess people will always believe what they want to though, and it hard to be absolutely certain if the cue isn't in the hand, so just my humble opinion.
