If you had a new Porsche delivered and it had a dodgy paint job and the doors were slightly out would you ring the dealer and say dont worry about it, the car drives really well ?

I see at least 1 new JP every week - very dew have even splices I find it incredible the prices people are prepared to pay for it !

I don't really mind as you can have some real fun with the "badge worship" brigade - could write a book !

I doubt he ever produces sub standard cues you are just voicing your opinion, I use a Parris Traditional cue best i have ever owned and best playability IMO not to say to everyones taste or like but has moved my game on 5% which is well worth it I have had consistency for once in my game not so erratic these days. They do cost a fair bit JP Cues but are well worth the money in my view I have tried peradon, tony glover, GBL, TW, B & W and also the old cues i dont think any come close to a JP even the ones made today which are not made from start to finish by himself. I am sure he has quality control and does not let cues out of the door if the are not a certain standard. Also there is massive demand for JP cues so they must be good for people to pay the prices he charges as there is a lot of poor makes out there still trying to get to his standard in my view as they always say as good as Parris if not better and more often than not they are'nt. Also lot of Pros use them so I am sure they wouldnt play with any rubbish !

nothing to do with badge mate they play great had 3 or 4 parris all played superb much better than most in fact all i have played with. Splices is all cosmetic dont make cue play any better could have a cheap bamboo cue with even splices still be useless as the wood no good!

Not sure how the cue plays is relevant to saying 'wow- that is a long way out!'

Why have you had three or four, if they were so good would you not just have one, and that would do you for life?

Owning just one cue is hard...there's always the urge for one or two more as 'spares'...

Ha! Too true, I like a little play with something else every now and again ,just out of curiosity, but I only have one playing cue, otherwise I would get all confused.

He seemed to imply to owning in the past rather than the present, if all were good players why change??????
