Left field suggestion, don't go with one, try a few out over there and buy one.

That means trying to find a cue retailer in Bangalore. I'm not overly worried but it would be nice to have a backup cue just in case.

OK, that would be good. ADR147 may have something for me but he doesn't have a lot of centre-jointed cues. I'm looking for 58", any ferrule size or type (not small UK pool though), around 18oz with ash shaft

Would there not be trade stands etc at the event ? Or is it not that type of venue.

In Bulgaria 2012 there was one vendor but he came along mid-way through the tournament. In 2013 Latvia there were none at all.

Although I think there will be some there's no guarantee

Terry can you find a Gauthier or Marcel cue out in ON? Otherwise for off the shelf recommend Peradon for an inexpensive option.

Gauthier would be far too expensive for what I'm looking for and I've never seen any Ontario player with a Marcel Jacques although they are quite common in Montreal (even Alain uses one I believe).

ADR147 is sending me one, don't know which brand as he said he got it with a bunch of other cues in trade. It should be on its way shortly and the price should be right for my purposes.

There you go Terry, this'll fit in hand luggage no bother. :snooker:

                    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5-piece-sn...item2340c2ee5a

Could even start a bidding war, with JB137 looking for similar.

LOL 134 ? I didn't know that was his highest break, I thought that was the only way he could remember his number code for

the padlock on his locker, in the Airdrie workmans.
