Stu says down to 8.7mm, do you think they can be used (securely) on smaller tips than 8.7mm?

                  Hi Dean,

Any smaller than 8.7 and you will find they won't stay on. They are supposed to push on tight, when fitted to a full 10mm the gridded top enables you to twist off from a tight fit.

The protector is supposed to fit tightly, if it didn't air will get to the tip.
We've had good feed back so far, comments have been positive. they also burnish the sides of the tip ;-)

                      thanks for that Stu
I was just hoping that they may "just" hold on a 8.2mm - I have a pool cue that I would love such a protector
I look forward to trying one out on my snooker cue (9.5mm). cheers

Question, when will you get the day-glo coloured ones?

lol it will be fine Shane, just twist sideways and it comes straight off.
No plans for different colours or a smaller size but if they end up being a popular accessory for snooker cues who knows.
                          It's all about demand.

i think if you live in a humid country it is a great idea.

                              Mine arrived today, thanks ADR!

Does the job it's supposed to although I can't see me slipping it back on as I stroppily throw my cue back in the case (I did this last night). It's best use for me is to protect the tip when I am applying oil to cues when the tips are still in great condition or popping on cues that are heading out the door off-setting a bit of the delicate movements of the courier
