A mate is going to order a cue off then after seeing mine last night.

Very underrated cue makers at a very affordable price in my opinion.
A mate had one delivered to his door in 9 weeks

actually i wasn't quite happy with the quality of mine. the joint wasn't flush with the butt or shaft.

Mine arrived today, so I have put pics below rather than start a new thread.
6 weeks from confirmation to delivery.

        1 Piece Maple
        57.5 inches
        9.5 mm
        18 oz
        29.5mm
        Maccassar Ebony
        Maccassar Ebony Mini Butt

Quality is spot on for the price and great communication from Dave and Chris. Why wait months and pay double elsewhere???!!!

Cant wait to have a bash with it!

I had the same problem with one of the cues I had from Mastercraft. I sent it off to another cue maker to get it fixed and he said he thought the shaft had dried out a bit since the cue had been made.

Yep, this is my second Mastercraft now and they really are great value for money! I highly rate them and Craftsman Cues (but they stopped making custom maple cues) and I see no need to look elsewhere.

That looks a lovely cue, Hope you enjoy it!
Personally I think a lot of it is down to people paying for the badge. You can go to some cuemakers and pay double what mastercraft are charging, the wood comes from the same trees!!! But it seems like some would rather a cue be badged by one of the top names when really the cue may not be any better finished...

Spot on, i think many people who buy expensive cues with top named badges do it mainly for resale purposes, we live in a society now that people believe paying more will get a better cue but we all know this is not always the case,my gbl was secondhand and I paid £180 for that and it still going strong

I like to think a cue is a cue within reason, and past a certain pricepoint you are not getting much extra for your money. especially to the level which I play at. I just wanted a nice, reliable, well made cue and anything more would just be a luxury that I didn't need to pay for.

But saying that, I have still has to hide it from my mrs because she would go barmy if she knew I had just spent 300+ including the extensions and case!

even so......... i'm sure it wont make me a better player than my £15 ebay find that I was using before!
