can anyone tell me the cue maker for the mike russell special cue? is it robin cook?

Yes, but if the cue is 3/4 joined and has got a vacuum joint then it is definitely not Robin Cook. Mike Russell has made frequent visits to Thailand and China in the past and has many cues made for him there.
