"The cue is a couple of years old..." i would be tempted to ask him just how many years, because as Leo says they were very early, not just recent ???

I did ask JRC and reply i got was : Hi the cue was made in 2012 and is in perfect as new condition, I have had it confirmed in by john parris in person that the cue was made by parris cues in 2012.
I bought it in May 2014 and I've only played it with a few times as I just can't get used to maple so decided to stick with my parris ash cue.
            Cheers Dave.
