well before ron started using one piece cues exclusively the 3/4 cue was all the rage, but the features of the cue, its jp who always sets the trend

Think jimmy white was the first person to use a 3/4 cue in the early 80's i remember it having a big white plastic joint.

I loved the appearance of the cue, but it didn't work for me, spec / feel, - wise .

I'd have got it adjusted, but I'm not clever enough to know where to adjust, and how much to adjust by.

Bit like me on that respect if a cue feels right it feels right if not move on to another one rather then tampering with it
