red badge puts prices up plus a good spec but it is not worth all that.

It isn't! Be surprised if the buyer pays, that's happened nearly every time I've sold a cue and got much more than it was worth.
Hope he does pay though, the seller is a member here as I recall?

I think people see a different colour joe davis cue and automatically think it's worth loads and if the seller gets £160 for that he has had a right score

Value is always subjective but they aren't worth 160 and never have been.
Gordon Radford auction price guide lists 59 sales averaging 58 quid. Maximum seen as 115 (which I think might be mine! As I paid that).
End of the day it's worth what someone is willing to pay but if you think this price is the norm, you're wrong.

With semi rare items auctions are too unpredictable to paint a true picture of said items worth. It just takes 2 people with more money than sense for it to sky rocket. Then it's usually followed by similar items flooding the market as they think they can get top dollar, and everyone suddenly realises there not as rare as they thought and the value plummets again! Have a sneaky feeling this one will be relisted due to non payer though.
No one is listening until you make a mistake!

I have also sold 2 of these 1 went for £38 and the other for £62 which i thought was good money for one of these! but as i keep telling people a Cue or Any Item is "Only Worth what somebody else is Willing to Pay for it".
