  • Handspliced Pro Cues 3/4 Snooker Cue

    Hello,

I'm looking to buy a Handspliced Pro Cues 3/4 Snooker Cue, are they any good? Its the "COM 2-2 Pro Cue Sets" with case and all accessories. Looking to play at my local club but getting a snooker table this summer.

All advice welcome! How much shall I pay for this cue?

    Cheers,
    Bill

    Bid £40 tops.

The 50% profit will keep snooker loopy's ferrari going for another 20 miles.

Thanks, bought one online - not snooker loopy!

        Snooker-Loopy's COM 2-2 went for £92.

I got the same one for £75.

Could have had two for that much, but hey thats free enterprise for you.

Check out the history of sales for the perticular item your interested in on ebay next time. 4 days before you first posted it went for £21.05. and the one before the £90 odd sale went for £30 something.

I said pay £40 tops knowing cases and cues like that come from China where that 3/4 ali case can be had for under £5 and a multi hanspliced rosewood cue the same. A dyed ebony one goes for about £7. The painted ramin mini butt and solid extensions are thrown in at that price. Add shipping at about £3 a cue vat at 17.5% and import duty at 4% and Mr importer is bringing them in for under £20 apiece including the "England" badge the Chinese put on for you for 30p a time.

Snooker Loopy is a pro player, uses a craftsman cue himself and drives a ferrari. so like i said the 50% profit* at £40 should keep it going for a few miles.
All the above excludes the £7 or so profit on postage btw. Carriers prices are at least 1/2 that charged by Royal Mail and discounted a fair bit for regulars.

          *(Should have said 100% really)

you are getting better at this wity! - figures pretty close aswell - his name is matt couch and he does indeed use a craftsman cue and drive a ferrari! remember though that these chinese exporters sell a minimum of 300/500 packages a time and you have to buy a whole container for shipping so most will bring more so even at £15 - £25 for a cue and case they are still outlaying an awful lot of money and everyone is entitled to make a living?

Well yeah I was slagging him off some, but at least I didn't actually name him.

Chatting up the boss's neice on Yahoo I got the 300 minimum cues order down to 50 btw but never bothered to order any.

              Why not ?

I aint got many tomatoe plants in my greenhouse 50 is way too many

                Pro Cues England

These PRO CUES ARE TOP DOGG!, I been playing in my junior league and ive banged in many century breaks and have got a 147 with it, my uncle has a John Parris cue and that is VERY similar, the RRP of these cues are about £140 but Its definately Good priced why go for the ones that make a whole in your wallet and not the reasonable priced ones!:snooker::snooker::snooker::snooker:

                    RRP £140

I don't know where you get that from ?

Has a thumb rule most retailers have a mark up of 2/3 to one.

So given you can buy these cues from China at a cost of £25 with case a true rrp would be £50-£75

If you look at Snooker loopy's Auction's 90 % of his items appear to be selling for less than he paid for them, so you may well get a bargain at the moment. he appears to be just unloading stock.
