  • My Andy Travis.

Well the time arrived today for me to and get my long awaited AT Cue which arrived yesterday in Melbourne and i was straight to Fed Ex to pick it up instead of waiting for them to deliver it which was still 72hrs away!

Anyway here is my new arrival and i am rapt with it!

Specs 58" long , 9.5 Tip , 18.2oz , 29.5 Butt and balance point of 17 inches, Elk tip fitted.

Excuse the ****ty photos as my digital camera is stuffed and these were taken by phone.

Here are 2 Pics Andy sent me before i purchased it and it is the middle Cue..

I have not had much time to play with it but from the 30mins i did i love it! Feels great , excellent reaction and i am really impressed. This is my 1st hand made Cue from a top line maker out of the U.K and i am treating it like gold already! lol

Big thanks to Andy for the excellent communication via Emails when i was looking for a Cue and his service was second to none which i cannot fault and fully recommend to anyone. Price that i paid i don't think is important but it was well below the usual 400-500 pound that other makers charge for their Cues and no waiting times as this was ready to go.
If it is called " Common sense " why is it so rare???

Congratulations to you. I hope your game will approve after this nice purchase our shall I say your confidences will grow around the table with this beautiful cue.
I do not say that your confidence are bad, but sometimes holding something that you really love will make you grow an inch or two.

    Regards/Ronnie

Agree and the self confidence it gives you is immense sometimes.

I have had a few hours with it now and i am loving it. It has put my Phoenix on the back burner for a while and i love that Cue to!

Just think of the waiting list Andy would have if he sold his cues for £500+

Is it because he's a lot cheaper then anyone else that people are put off,I've never used one of his cues, but it seems on here a few people really like his cues and just wondered why people would pay double for a cue if Travis cues are that good,or are we back to it's not the cue it's the name on the badge that's most important

I have no doubt that some buy for the badge and if they are like this good on them and good luck to em.

I cannot really compare the U.K quality hand made Cues because they are few and far apart in Oz and cost a packet to get here as it is nearly double the price in our dollars compared to what you pay in pounds. Hence why the Thai Cues are really popular here.

I have only played with a Parris Cue that was close to the bottom of his range and an Ambassador i think from memory when a guy at the club had one and while it was nice i thought my Phoenix was just as good honestly. This new Andy Travis cue i have is a lot better than both IMO and maybe i am biased, as we are all different but it is by far the best Cue i have owned and/or played with.

I am looking at a Trevor White next and/or a Mike Wooldridge when funds allow!!
