  • jason owen vs steve grice

I'm thinking of one of the above making me a cue.
Now playing with a AT @ the moment. Not bad but not 100% right for me.
I know jason is making stunning cues but steve also makes nice cues.
Just wandering if you guys can't give me some pointers witch of the 2 is the best.

Complete now AT is another option?

Is that your office desso? Your colleague seems completely unfazed with you whipping out a cue and start taking pictures.

There was a steve grice cue on ebsy the other day with some close up pictures of the butt and butt socket it looked rough as. Jason owens cues are total quality only held one but you could tell that anyone producing cues of that standard isnt just a one off.

by the looks of it they're both custom cue makers and don't cut their own shafts so its a toss up. its about who out of the two got the best shaft supplier.. id go with the one who'd let me choose my own shaft

steve grice may be a custom cue maker now but he was a volume maker awhile ago so he will know where to source timbers

You are having a bath if you think there's no other well known cuemakers who don't buy in shafts

Shame that Jason doesn't make jointed cues though.
