I own a T White cue and it is excellent quality for a reasonable price, also Trevor hand makes each and every one of his cues unlike you know who in london, who from the occasion I popped in the shop his YTS underlings were doing all the cue making, but hey I'm welsh and biased anyway.

So its basically just a money making scheme for him now then, not the fact that making good cues should be the first priority, sounds like making money is, charging a lot of money for a no name youngster to do the hard work.

in fairness to him, for a long time he set the standard - would you not milk that reputation aswell if you got the chance? - as long as people don't somehow think his cues are mystically better than others then good luck to him i say.

It happens all over the world in any business. Ever heard of Claudio Mazzi ? Italian Airbrush Artist who worked for Ducatti and later became famous for painting Zippo lighters. Collectors pay a minimum of £120 for a Zippo with his name on it.

The guy can paint alright, so can the kids he employs in his studio at £10 per lighter.

I've just ordered my cue from Trevor White, can't wait to have my first hit with the cue. Although I have to wait for 6 - 8 weeks, I'm already having dreams about playing with the cue.
