i hope to make cues when im older im obsesed with them ive drawn about 50 diferent designs for cues how will i get into cue making and where do i get the wood from and what do i need to make them if anybody can help me out it will be much apreciated

I also received my new Trevor White cue this morning (14th Aug).

I am in my 50s and over the years have had cues made by just about every top cuemaker in the entire world.

The cue that I received today from Trevor is in my opinion the very best craftsmanship I have ever seen. There is no-one out there fussier than I am and I even specified shaft taper and balance point. Both of these are exact and eveything about the cue is exact.

If I sent my cue to Trevor could he make an exact replica obviously without the banana-like warping and multi-dented shaft? What sort of costs are we talking?

Take it from me.......Trevor is the best out there and does not charge you a fortune like some.

I would imagine a perfect copy of your cue would cost somewhere in the region of £200 - £300 depending on the design.

£200 a little hopeful oldgit! - i would say these days £250 - £400 depending on design etc. how did you get on with your new cue?
