    He did the same with Robert Osborne , he made him at least 4 cues before choosing one . Robert some the others to China with a signed certificate and photo of Ronnie .
    Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

      I think he would say that for him to be totally comfortable playing all the shots he does that he couldn't just use any old cue. In the same fashion that we see him messing with his tip all the time. It strikes me that he is very picky... Like most snooker players, I'd say it's a fair bet that most decent players are obsessive by nature. This meaning if something isn't quite right it affects then mentally which therefore affects their physical output.

        For me a cue is very personal and I cant just
        play with any 'old' cue. It isnt just the looks
        but how it plays and feels. Of course we are
        all different.

          it also depends on what clothe you play on; you can get very different reaction with the same cue.

            I think it depends for me on if im playing on a pool table or snooker table. On a snooker table I'm really picky and need a 9.5 minimmu tip very stiff cue etc. but pool wise as long as I'm playing with a cue thats a cue not a pub bat I can get on although I do prefer playing with something thats for me
