very nice looking cue that, how whippy is it (being hornbeam)? or maybe should ask, how would you rate the stiffness of the shaft?

I've only had one hornbeam cue and it was as stiff as maple, are you implying they are normally whippy?

From what Jason Owen told me , when making mine, you need very sharp tools,

which it does a good job of blunting as well ?

i too have never shied away from a round butt but i like to feel a flat butt nowa days, and i hope this stiff cue at 58/9.5/29/17bp/16oz will react on the table the way i think it should. if not i'll go into the top and take it down to a 9/8.5
