Geordies cue looks so much better now that the front splice has been changed. Looks a proper player the way the balls were just stroked in but getting plenty on the cue ball, rekon he's going to love it.
Where did you get those tips J? Don't sound overly pingy for a laminated.

Hmm. Spread a reasonable distance for their size, nice and sharp!

got the tips off a pool player, theyre called nili and they came in 6 layers at 14mm. these are a bit hard and i see they do them soft to hard and with 10 layers

I'm liking the long splices on the ebony, suits the cue. And the shaft has great character, could be a bit of a dark horse this one.

Great job on the "rescue" as well, a new lease of life for this lucky cue. My first cue was maple, still have a soft spot them.
