  • Roundbutts - Let's see 'em!

Do you play with a round butt cue?

I am going to give a roundbutt a go, as having used one a last week and enjoying the feel I reckon this could work a charm for me.

I'd love to see your roundbutt cue and would love any advice or experiences that you'd be willing to share.

    Cheers

My one is on page 458 on the ' post pics of your cue ' thread . No idea how to copy and paste on the Mrs IPad

Been using a round butt cue for about 15 years , could not get on with the flat on cues .

I spin the cue to the arrows when I play .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

I also thought the same thing about that cue. Lovely cue all the same just a pity about no flat on it.

                  Roundbutts - Let's see 'em!

She's lovely Neil, a real looker.

I have always played with the flat in towards my hip and never use grain for sighting so don't need to be to routine about it, I really loved spinning the cue around on each shot. It felt right.

Cheers mate.....I let Trevor decide on the burr . Very pleased with what he picked .

I found that by spinning the butt it slowed me down on the shot.....which was a good thing for me .

Just habit with the grain for me

Surprised it made much difference from a butt with a flat for some people, on cues with flats i find you have to hold it virtually at the end to even notice the flat. Suppose it depends on the length of the flat it but cue's like MW's if you're a couple of inches from the end it feels essentially like a roundbutt.
