  • JP ' London ' Cue

A mate of mine has just found the butt of a JP cue with ' London ' on the badge .

We're these made before the ' Postcode ' cue ?

He is toying with the idea of getting JP to make a new shaft for it .

Any idea what the price would be if it had the original shaft ?

I seem to recall that the postcode ones go for quite a bit but can't remember what sort of money these go for .

    Cheers
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

    there are TWO Postcode cues
"London SE 23" in the middle (some had numbers, some not) and the "SE 23 Ultimate Cue"
it sounds like he has a postcode cue, come on Neil, pictures as soon as possible...

question, what is wrong with the shaft it has already?

                      JP ' London ' Cue

never seen this type before, interested in anyone else's comments.
if legit then my guess would be it is before the Postcode badges
                      so mid 80s, ?

It dates back to the West Norwood Snooker Club .....which has been shut for a good few years .

                            JP ' London ' Cue

My initial impression upon seeing the photos is it looks pretty similar to the personalised badges that John offers. The 'London' font seems much like his newer badges. The N and O are wider than the industrial style font used around the 'postcode' time.

Perhaps a whole new species of JP :snooker:
