are woods cues any good I've been using jian ying anyone know if woods are as good .

the others are a little more budget finish

Got my woods one, it was definitely a good buy. The seller on eBay is a ****** but good cues for money. Real nice weight/feel to them.

looking for a 3/4 piece 58 inch woods are the only one i can find on ebay thats not over £200 i have a good 57 inch 1 piece yian ying but i want a change

As Dean says the woods 3 star are the ones to go for and yes they are better than Yian Ying. Owned both makes in the past.

How would ye compare them to say a hand spliced Phoenix ?

Would rather have the phoenix, have tried all three makes of cues, in my opinion the pheonix is a superior cue, but to each there own.
