I agree, I think the cues he did send out from the pictures I have seen were excellent for the money, it's just a pity it's all gone wrong, and maybe just telling the truth would have been better instead of all the poor excuses.

Just to update, my cues have finally arrived 53 week total wait from order to receipt of delivery. Cues do look very nice though, the rare Payoong butt wood looks good in my opinion. Splicings appear accurate and the finishing is very smooth. Just very disappointed that it's taken so long and as there was a time when I thought the cues were never going to arrive I ended up ordering a Ton Praram through Stupree. I would say they cues are fairly similar quality wise but possibly the unclevit ones edge it. At first I was not too keen on the Praram (maybe just because it was different from the cue I have used for several years), it seemed to have a bit of a dead sound and feel, but I have been using it more and more in practice and I'm not sure if its the tip bedding in or simply because I'm getting used to it but it is playing really nicely now and sounds much better too when you strike the ball. I will post photos of the cues later.

Yep great news, I don't think the quality was ever in doubt, just the time it took. This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

Photos of the unclevit cues and the Ton Praram one. Sorry if the photos are not great, I'm not sure the best way to add photos and I could only add small file sizes. I would say build quality wise they are very similar and I'm happy with both but the ebony on the unclevit ones is more uniform with less light patches and streaks. End cost was slightly higher per cue for the unclevit ones with customs charges included but they are fully spliced whereas the Praram just has a face splice.

Nice cues mate. I also have a C-brand and have just taken delivery of a Series II Praram. I agree with your comments about quality. The one thing I would add is that with the Praram cue I got EXACTLY what I asked for right down to the 9.7mm ferrule and the 14.2mm taper at 12". With the C-brand I kinda got what the workshop thought was best! Clearly the customer service from Praram is far superior.

Yes good point, my Praram was exactly as ordered, I haven't measured the unclevit cues yet to check the specs, the pool one feels and looks to be pretty close but the snooker one feels lighter than I expected it to be although as I say I haven't actually checked it yet. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a Praram cue to anyone, did you order yours through Stupree or directly yourself?

That's good service, just a couple of months from order to delivery from Thailand. Mine is just entry series 1 so the ebony on your is maybe cleaner, I was in two minds whether to order a series 1 or 2 but as I had already had a fair bit of money lying out with the unclevit order I went for the cheaper option, still happy with it though.

Fair play those cues look really nice, I wonder why he doesn't just tell the truth as to why there is a massive wait, it's all a bit strange when the quality looks there, he just doesn't di himself any favours, never mind ,I think they look cracking. This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!
