I bought this cue last night. I wondered if it was supposed to be auctioned,

judging by the wording " This is a rare cue so grab yourself a bargain starting price £85.00 Happy Bidding",

but it was on "buy it now" at £85, so I did. . small bit of damage under tip, but not a deal breaker for that price.

        Sorry for thread hogging Jim.

It's not perfect, but hoping there's enough wood there for a ferrule, or I just get it taken to 57.5", and ferruled up.

                        You have been outbid
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
                        I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

Out of interest, should these cues be restored to playable condition or left as they are?

You wouldn't play with these cues, it's more for the collector as most will be very light & whippy

There's no hard and fast rule. Depends if you bought it to play with, or not I suppose.

That sounds patronising, but wasn't meant to be. It's up to the individual who bought it is what I mean.

Even if you bought it to make money, sometimes the immaculate looking one will sell for more,
but occassionaly, sometimes the collector might want a bit of patina.
