And as for waiting. If he had told me it would have been 2,3,5 months I would have waited. But when you get told it will be here before Xmas and it's no, then he keeps telling you 2 weeks and after 2 weeks another 2 it gets a bit old and you start to wonder if he is trying to rip you off.
As I'm writing the reply Kent has just emailed me saying the cue is ready and he will send some pics within 2 days. So fingers crossed
Honesty from Day 1 is all myself and others most likely are probably after and it is not to much to ask for. If it is going to take 12 Mths say it...... no probs , if it is going to take 24Mths say that to and at least the consumer knows before placing the order and is prepared.

BUT do not say it will be ready in 5 weeks and then take 6Mths to deliver it FFS!! I will go off my head if that happened to me especially when/if communication is ignored!
If it is called " Common sense " why is it so rare???

Thats a bit harsh, jeez snobbery at its best. Doesn't need a badge to make it a player, or a price tag for that matter.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

But surely if it's an expensive cue with a well known badge you will play a lot better

When contacting this cue maker he has been great so I suppose you could say that we felt at ease when ordering because the response was very good.

I am after a decent cue that feels and plays well rather than looks like a work of art or have a top cue makers name on it. I will still knock in the same type of breaks I am now no doubt.

I just play because I love the game like the rest of you all on here

My experience with Woods cue is that, after you paid and he received it, response would either be very slow if not none even if you emailed and enquire.

Yes I can relate to that because I have emailed from another account and enquired about a cue and I got a response straight away.

                Very annoying !

So I have just been sent a picture of my cue. Not sure how to insert a photo off it but there is 16 splices in total supposedly but the bottom splices only has 1 front one instead of all the way round
So I emailed him and he says if I don't like it I can have another one made.
Great another two months waiting time

as mentioned, your ordered cue is not in stock. he just get one from the mass produced stock that has been produced over last 4 week and tried to have you accept it.

You can have another made, but surely need to wait until chinese new year is over and all craftsman are back, and your cue will get completed in end of march.

No imagine hendrys connoisseur with 4 extra splices on the bottom.
