  • Personal Cue

A week ago I bought my own cue and yesterday I played my first 5 games with it.

The first thing I noticed was that the tip of the cue is hard and the chalk has problems staying on the tip. (Do I have to do something with the tip?)I really have to put it on with the corner of the chalk. (so I can put some power on it while putting it on the tip)

The other thing I noticed about the tip was that it's very precise. I can really pot long balls very good now but I have to do it at slow speed. (If I want to do it hard I really have to shoot it VERY precise)

I never had that with the cues I played with from the Snooker centre it selves. Is that all normal, or do I just have to adapt a bit there?

generally cues from cheaper makers have cheaper tips on them so its a fair bet it will need replacing. take a look at my tip guide elsewhere in this forum.
