    Hi Trev

Did i read on here somewhere that you made maguires new cue?

i have seen a few of your cues recently and all seem to be excellently made, i have seen a lot of parris cues and the quality of them can differ between every cue, is this because more than one person makes them?

all of the splices for the ebony butts on your cues are always perfect, i bet this takes years to perfect.

Do you have any pics of any cues you have at the minute for sale?

      Peter hanley cues

      Hi guys,
I have a Peter Hanley cue, made by him a few years ago. I am not happy with mine, I play rubbish with it. Has anyone else got a PH cue and not happy/happy with it?

Are his cues comparable with John Parris and other UK cue craftsmen?
      cheers,

i have only seen one hanley cue and i though it was not too bad - but they are different to uk made cues a bit more 'industrial' by reputation, partly i am told because of the different playing conditions.

Thanks for that, I remember reading somewhere that John parris cues are not made for the Australian conditions. If so, all cues made in the UK might not be very useful for us.

I wonder if Neil Robertson uses a Peter Hanley cue when he playes in the UK?
          cheers,

neil uses a john parris classic cue that used to belong to his dad after his was stolen and it was lengthened by peter hanley.

              cues

              Thank you ADR 147!
I hear that Trevor White is a good guy and makes great cues, does Trevor have a website? If yes, does anyone have it?

I need a new cue; any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

hey shamimfahiz, i own a hanley cue myself and have three mates with the same... what year was your cue made. i've heard of a couple of complaints about the more recent cues of his. but im not saying there bad cues just not suited to some playing styles.

Ive just got my trevor white cue and its awesome, as all his cues are custom made, if there are any complaints with its cues its obvious the customer has specified the wron spes for themself.

I told trevor what i wanted and its excellent, one of the best cues i had ever seen, finished better than any other cue ive seen.

                          hi,
I got mine made in 2000.
the two pieces are straight, but when you screw them together, it wobbles badly, no arrows at the top. I told the boys at the club about it, one said, P.H cues have lifetime warranty, call peter and talk to him about it. I called him he said he will call me back after he checks his appointments for the next week. He never called, I guess he is not interested to do anything about my cue. I have seen his other cues, they look ok. but mine must be his worst. Maybe when he is well known, he might buy my cue to distroy it.

                          cheers mate!

                            Sorry Trev,
I did not write clearly that the cue was made by Peter Hanley, here in Australia, my reply was to another member who has a P.H cue as well and he asked me when did I get mine made? The cue that Peter Hanley made me is 60 inches long 3/4. It certainly is too long, with a problem in the joint and with terrible arrows. I am still trying to find someone who has a 58 inches long cue, so I can try and work out what lenth is really good for me. I will talk to you as soon as I have made my decision about the lenth of my new cue, so you can build it for me.

                            thanks,
