If not, i guess it is ok too, as i just want a great playing cue.
BTW, did you have a postal tracking number for your cue?
There is a bit of a tale to tell with that!!! As Mikes Email stuffed up on him and while he did send it i got it very late and after a few requests for it as well after it was sent but not sent if you know what i mean!!
All good though now and yeah Mike will supply you with a tracking number for sure.If it is called " Common sense " why is it so rare???

More playing with it tonight and it just gets better and better.
I found myself at work all day today just wanting to get home and rip the cover off the table to play with it! :snooker:
I must admit i have to stay away from Mikes website though cause a brand new Tiger Cue is VERY tempting and what the hell is better than 1 of these MW Cues????
Why 2 of course! If it is called " Common sense " why is it so rare???

Yeah, odd about my mail app. I noticed there were about 50 emails stuck in my outbox (after you bombarded me with emails and fb messages ) and realised nothing had sent for a couple of days. Had to set the account up again and they all popped off in a second or two.
I don't understand how anyone could not notice a difference using BlackSpin. For sure, you do not need to strike the ball so hard to generate cueball spin, especially drag and side shots, and there's a huge difference in the amount of cue ball deflection when cueing off centre.
Maybe it boils down to technique? I mean if you whack the balls around, you may need to address where and how you (think) you strike the cueball. Also, if you are mainly a plain ball player then the differences are not so apparent. Although the contact will (or should be) super sweet.
For me, it's all about generating movement without forcing the shot. You can really ramp up side, stun, drag, and screw shots hitting the ball much softer than you have trained yourself to do. It's something that benefits from control and technique but is still massively noticeable on some shots in particular.
I would suggest that customers who feel different should contact me to discuss their findings. Contrary to some opinions (usually from massive twats, nobody on TSF of course and before anyone starts, nobody currently in this thread), I try very hard to communicate fully with my customers and it is vital I am kept informed of any issues or thoughts that are contrary to what should be expected. I mean, maybe something is actually wrong? I need to know so I can fix it...
Regardless, if I bought something and I didn't think it was doing what I thought it should, I would contact the makers. I fully expect my customers to do the same cos my aim is to make people 100% happy.
Anyway, I'm only on this thread cos Paul asked me to take a look. I don't wanna get involved in any debates but I hope my comments clear up any questions newcomers may have on what BlackSpin ferrule will do. If not, just email me questions and you'll get clear and concise answers.
One last thing, I can fit brass ferrule to any new cue but it is against my advice/recommendation. For several reasons, all to be found on my website. So make sure you take time reading that first for a fuller understanding of what is actually happening.
Peace out bruvvers

In all seriousness though when you are bombarded with idiots and trolls that just want to comment to upset you and others it is hard and not worth it, no wonder many stay away especially Pro Cue makers as they have little time for ********s and i do not blame them honestly.
A public slanging match achieves nothing and no professional Cue maker wants to be involved in this public spatting and rubbish on a forum and i bet the most critical do not even own one of his Cues.......
My 2 bob anyway!Last edited by Chappy5; 17 February 2015, 09:46 AM.If it is called " Common sense " why is it so rare???

Yeah I had a problem with your Emails Mike- I kept emailing you for a big discount on a cue and kept getting F';k off in reply, you must of picked up one of those Tourette computer Viruses :-)

Couldn't of put it better myself, that's bang on what I've experienced over the past year using Black Spin, very little effort maximum return.

Don't get me wrong i also like multi spliced Cues to but there is just something about a MW Legend with that plain sparkling Ebony Butt and the finish on the Cue i must add is the BEST i have held, so smooth and silky that words cannot describe until you have it in your own hands.
Next order when i need replacement Blackspin tips is for the Mothers Milk Cue Oil Mike sells to keep it like this!:snooker:

Prefer a plain ebony butt myself, its getting harder to get a cue that has a totally black butt these days though. That being said the Vintage cue Mike has for sale looks very nice as well, reddish coloured burr wood with the black ebony looks really nice.
