Has anybody bought a cue from Thailand directly? If so what are best ones? Heard very good things about cues from there.

Maximus and ton Praram have been doing good things with excellent reviews all round, around 500£ for a hand made cue.
Phoenix, omin, precision, have always been known to make good cues at the lower end of the price range at around 150-180£ for a custom cue

I think Stupree is about to place another order with Ton Praram, much easier through Stu, he was really helpful and as he orders in "bulk" the delivery and customs charges work out less and he gives you a price delivered right to your door so you have no hassle at all. Very happy with my cue although its just a Series 1, custom made to your specs for a great price.

Anybody paying the prices that John Parris is asking are absolutely insane, I bought an LP package for around 60 UK pounds and it is a very well made cue, also came with case and extensions .... great value for any player .... I also use Elk tips.Last edited by blinky88; 18 February 2015, 05:34 PM.

he got all extensions etc. for a very reasonable price second hand and they tend to hold their resell value too which is a bonus.
absolutely nothing wrong with the Thai cues though, I've seen some really nice examples, I was actually thinking of buying my buddy one for his birthday later in the year but will have a good look about first.:snooker:
