as a general rule the same truth applies as to everything you buy. you get what you pay for, the best cues from thailand are not cheap , they are expensive, and it is worth remembering when you import them you will be liable for import duty and vat on them as well.

I forgot about that to...yes this company are selling from 200 up to ultimates at 400. Not a brand anyone has mentioned, but his cues do look excellent. Very tempting still but still risky...thanks for all opinions on this!

Your post makes no sense if you don't quote someone, or at least mention what cue you are talking about

Depends what you mean by genuine, these are omin cues as a Chinese company bought the rights to the name omin cues in China. This is not a Thai cue though, it is a Chinese cue all made by the same people who make weichster cues, they are not bad for the money but they are not a genuine Thai omin cue

Ok, so the cues Welsh Pool is selling are the Thai O'min cues. I'm a bit confused really. So the Chinese co. that bought the trademark O'min make O'min cues in China and the original O'min also make cues in Thailand? How do we tell them apart, the badges are different?

omin is and always has been a bit dodgy - hence his own extensions chalk pouches etc are made by the same people who make these cues!

100% correct. I have bought a Chinese O'min off this seller in the past and it was a very good cue, also had a Weichster from him at the same time. Don't forget the import tax, you will receive a bill from your courier after this has been delivered to you. Can come as a bit of an unexpected shock to some. Usually only on 1 piece cues they don't seem to bother with 3/4 for some reason.

Import Tax was about £13 - £14 per cue
