So I visited my club over the weekend. And the fella on the next table asked me if I knew anybody who had a cue for sale. He said after 40 years he fancies a change. I was intrigued to what cue he was using. He pulled over his one piece metal case and pulled out what I can only describe as a gem. My reaction said it all. He had an original and I mean original untouched sanded wise and original ferrule burwat champion cue. He said he got offered £20 for it a while ago. You will be pleased to know I told him the true value. I was very honest and said he should not sell it and should either keep it or if he needed the money to sell it to a collector. After I told him the story of the cue. He seemed to change his mind. But did say he fancied a two piece cue. Told him to go to craftsman cues to look at what they'd got. If he does decide to sell I said I'd advertise it for him. He's 76 years old and can pot them off the lampshade still. Fair play to him and good luck I say. Just thought I'd share this with you. And No I haven't got a new cue 😅
